Terms of Service

Glass Harbor LLCEffective September 22, 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to Glass Harbor. These Terms of Service (these "Terms") govern your access to and use of glassharbor.io, our online store at glassharbor.io/store, our support channels, and any other website or online service we operate (collectively, the "Site").

The Site is operated by Glass Harbor LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company ("Glass Harbor," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

These Terms Do Not Govern the Software Itself

These Terms cover the Site — browsing, purchases, downloads, and support. Your right to install and use our audio software, including Gold Star Echo Chamber, is governed separately by our End User License Agreement (the "EULA"). Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, and our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. All four documents apply to you, and each is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

If these Terms conflict with the EULA on a question about your use of our software, the EULA controls.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Site. If you are under 18, you may use the Site only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to be responsible for your activity and for any purchases you make.

You may not use the Site if you are barred from doing so under the laws of the United States or your country of residence, or if we have previously terminated your access.

3. No Accounts

We do not operate customer accounts. There is no registration, no username, and no password. You purchase through our checkout, and we email your download link and License Key to the address you provide at purchase.

Accurate information. You agree to provide accurate and complete information at checkout. A valid email address is required — it is the only way we can deliver your download link, your License Key, and important notices about your license.

Keep your License Key confidential. Your License Key is personal to you and may not be shared, published, sold, or transferred. You are responsible for activity carried out with it. See the EULA for the full terms.

If you lose your License Key or download link, email us at support@glassharbor.io from the address you used to purchase, or with your order number, and we will resend it once we have confirmed the order.

4. Purchases, Pricing, and Payment

Orders. All orders are subject to acceptance. We may refuse or cancel any order, including where a product is mispriced or unavailable, where we suspect fraud, or where we are prohibited from selling to you. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we will refund you in full.

Pricing. Prices are stated in U.S. dollars (USD) and are subject to change without notice. A price change does not affect an order we have already accepted. We make every effort to price accurately, but if a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price, we may cancel the order and refund you rather than honor that price.

Taxes. Prices do not include sales tax, VAT, GST, or other applicable taxes, which may be added at checkout based on your location. You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or fees imposed by your jurisdiction that we do not collect.

Merchant of record. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle is the seller of record for your order, processes your payment, and issues your receipt. We do not receive or store your full payment card number. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's own buyer terms and privacy notice.

Promotions. Discounts, sales, coupon codes, and bundle pricing are offered at our discretion, may be limited in time or quantity, cannot be combined unless we say so, and cannot be applied retroactively to a completed purchase.

5. Delivery of Digital Products

Our products are digital downloads only. There is no physical product, and nothing will be shipped to you.

After your payment is confirmed, we email your download link and License Key to the address associated with your order. This normally happens within minutes but may take up to 24 hours.

If you have not received your download within 24 hours, first check your spam or junk folder, then contact us at support@glassharbor.io and we will resolve it.

You are responsible for confirming system compatibility before you purchase. Minimum system requirements and supported plug-in formats are published on each product page. We offer a free 14-day trial of every product, and we strongly encourage you to use it to confirm the product works in your setup before you buy. See Section 6.

6. Licenses Purchased Through the Site

When you purchase a product, you are purchasing a license to use software, not the software itself. That license is governed by the EULA.

Key points, stated here for clarity:

  • Each license permits two (2) simultaneous activations on computers you own or control.
  • Licensing is machine-locked: activation binds your license to specific hardware.
  • An internet connection is required to activate, deactivate, or start a trial. After activation the software may periodically attempt to sync with our licensing servers, according to the licensing policy we set.
  • Under our current policy, a failed sync does not disable your license, and there is no limit on missed syncs — once activated, you can keep that computer offline indefinitely. If we ever change that, we will give you advance notice before it affects a license you already hold. See EULA Section 5.
  • Licenses may not be resold or transferred to another person.
  • Licenses are issued to a named individual or entity and may not be shared.

Free Trials

We offer a free 14-day trial of our products. The trial is fully functional — it is the complete product with no feature restrictions and no audio interruptions.

The 14 days run from when you activate the trial, not from when you download. The first time you open the Software without a license, it offers to start your trial; the clock begins when you accept. When the trial expires, the Software displays a notice and stops passing audio, but projects containing it still open normally and your settings are preserved.

Trial activation authorizes the trial on your computer. A trial activation is separate from a purchased license and does not use up either of your two activations. You may run one trial per product, per person, per computer, and you may use the trial on real projects, including commercial work, during the trial period.

Attempting to extend or restart a trial by reinstalling, using additional email addresses, altering hardware identifiers, or changing your system clock is a violation of these Terms and the EULA.

Using the trial has no effect on your refund rights — see our Refund Policy.

Resellers and Unauthorized Sources

Resellers. Licenses purchased from an authorized reseller are also governed by the EULA. Refunds for reseller purchases must be requested from that reseller, not from us.

Unauthorized sources. We only support licenses purchased from us or from an authorized reseller. We are not responsible for keys obtained from any other source, and we may deactivate them.

7. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. In summary: you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, provided you have not activated the product. Please read the full Refund Policy for conditions, exclusions, and how to make a request.

8. Support

We provide technical support by email at support@glassharbor.io to customers in good standing. We aim to respond within 2–3 business days, though response times vary. Support is provided in English on a commercially reasonable-efforts basis, and is limited to our own products.

9. Acceptable Use

When using the Site, you agree not to:

  1. Violate any applicable law or regulation;
  2. Infringe our intellectual property rights or those of anyone else;
  3. Upload or transmit any virus, malware, or other harmful code;
  4. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, our servers, our licensing systems, or any other person's License Key;
  5. Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site, or breach or circumvent any security or authentication measure;
  6. Interfere with or disrupt the Site, including by overloading, flooding, or denial-of-service attack;
  7. Use any robot, scraper, spider, or automated means to access the Site or collect data from it, except for search-engine crawlers obeying our robots.txt;
  8. Harvest or collect email addresses or other contact information from the Site;
  9. Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone;
  10. Post or transmit content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, hateful, obscene, or otherwise objectionable;
  11. Use the Site to send unsolicited commercial messages;
  12. Purchase products using fraudulent, stolen, or unauthorized payment methods;
  13. Resell, redistribute, or make available our products or License Keys in violation of the EULA.

We may investigate any suspected violation and may suspend or terminate access, cancel orders, deactivate licenses, and report conduct to law enforcement.

10. Intellectual Property

Our content. The Site and all of its content — including software, text, graphics, logos, product names, user interface designs, audio demos, videos, documentation, and their selection and arrangement — is owned by Glass Harbor or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Limited permission. You may view and download content from the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use in connection with evaluating or using our products. You may not otherwise copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from Site content without our prior written permission.

Trademarks. "Glass Harbor," "Gold Star Echo Chamber," and our logos are trademarks of Glass Harbor LLC. You may not use them without our prior written permission, except to refer accurately to our products. All other trademarks appearing on the Site — including names of digital audio workstations, plug-in formats, and operating systems — belong to their respective owners, and their appearance does not imply any endorsement or affiliation.

Press and demo use. Reviewers, retailers, and educators may use our product names, product images, and published audio demos to describe or review our products, provided the use is accurate and not misleading.

11. Your Submissions

The Site may allow you to submit content — support messages, feature requests, bug reports, reviews, testimonials, forum posts, or presets ("Submissions").

You keep ownership of your Submissions. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, and display your Submissions for the purpose of operating, improving, supporting, and promoting our products and the Site. You can ask us to stop using a Submission publicly by contacting support@glassharbor.io, and we will honor that request going forward.

Feedback. If you send us ideas, suggestions, or feature requests, we may use them without restriction, without compensation, and without any obligation of confidentiality. Please do not send us confidential information you do not want us to use.

Your responsibility. You represent that you have the right to submit what you submit, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights or violate Section 9.

Our discretion. We may review, edit, refuse to post, or remove any Submission at any time, but we have no obligation to monitor Submissions.

12. Termination

By you. You may stop using the Site at any time.

By us. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or the EULA, if we suspect fraud or payment reversal, or if we discontinue the Site.

Your licenses survive. If we terminate your access to the Site while you are in compliance with the EULA, your existing perpetual licenses remain valid and you may continue to use software you have already purchased and activated. However, you may lose access to support and to further downloads from the Site. We recommend keeping local backups of your installers and License Keys, since we hold no account from which you could re-download them.

If your access is terminated for breach of the EULA, for chargeback, or for payment fraud, your licenses terminate as well.

13. Third-Party Sites and Services

The Site may link to third-party websites and services we do not control, including resellers, payment processors, forums, and social media. We provide those links for convenience only. We do not endorse and are not responsible for their content, products, or practices. Your dealings with third parties are solely between you and them.

Site assistant. The Site includes an automated chat assistant that answers questions about Glass Harbor and our products using published reference material. Its replies are generated automatically, may be incomplete or mistaken, and are not legal, financial, or professional advice. The specifications, prices, dates, and policies published on the Site and in these documents take precedence over anything the assistant says. Do not enter passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information into the assistant.

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent that includes:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent;
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
  3. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and its location on the Site;
  4. Your contact information, including address, telephone number, and email;
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Designated agent: Glass Harbor LLC — DMCA Agent 2147 Aquetong Road, New Hope, PA 18938 support@glassharbor.io

We may remove material in response to a valid notice and may terminate the access and licenses of repeat infringers.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GLASS HARBOR DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, timely, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Site is free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any information on the Site, including product specifications, system requirements, and pricing.

Warranties relating to our software are addressed in the EULA.

16. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GLASS HARBOR AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (i) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (ii) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS ($50.00).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Glass Harbor and its members, managers, officers, employees, agents, and licensors from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Site, your Submissions, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

18. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

You and Glass Harbor consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and waive any objection to that venue.

Any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site must be brought within one (1) year after the claim arose, or it is permanently barred, except where applicable law prohibits a shortened limitations period.

Informal resolution first. Before filing a claim, please contact us at support@glassharbor.io and give us 30 days to try to resolve the matter. Most disputes can be settled this way.

If you are a consumer residing outside the United States, nothing in this Section deprives you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted at glassharbor.io with its Effective Date. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice — by email, by a notice on the Site, or both.

Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, stop using the Site. Changes are not retroactive and do not affect orders already placed.

20. General

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the EULA, Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Glass Harbor regarding the Site.

Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.

Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them freely, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

No third-party beneficiaries. These Terms do not create rights for anyone other than you and Glass Harbor.

Force majeure. We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

Notices. We may give notice by email to the address associated with your order or by posting on the Site. Notices to us should go to support@glassharbor.io.

Headings. Section headings are for convenience only.
